Ali Said Faqi (Somali: Cali Saiid Fakhi, Arabic: علي سعيد فقي) is a Somali scientist and the leading researcher on the design and interpretation of toxicology studies at the MPI research center in Mattawan, Michigan.
Faqi has published over 60 peer reviewed scientific papers, predominantly on toxicology. He has also worked in several countries such as Germany and Italy, where he is still an adjunct professor at the University of Palermo.. Prior to his position as director of MPI's toxicology department, Ali Faqi was a senior scientist at IITRI in Chicago, Illinois and Allergan pharmaceuticals in Irvine, California.
Dr. Faqi is a full member of the Society of Toxicology and Teratology.[1]
